ValueMedics Research, LLC is launched
Arlington, VA — Jonothan C. Tierce, C.Phil., and Elisabeth
H. Hazard, Ph.D., announce the formation of ValueMedics Research,
LLC., in Arlington, Virginia. The 14-person company provides research
and consulting services to the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device
and medical diagnostics industries. The ValueMedics staff is comprised
of the full Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Pricing and Market
Access Group from Epinomics Research, Inc., founded by Tierce and
Hazard in 1997.
“We are very excited about this new beginning,” said Dr. Hazard, “and
remain strongly committed to the vision behind Epinomics, a vision that we believe
is what made it so successful in the six years of its existence: hiring the best
possible talent, enabling them to do their best work, being respectful of everyone
you work with and for, and remembering to have fun along the way.” She
went on to add that “this is a doubly exciting time for us because it also
marks the 20th anniversary of Jonothan Tierce’s leadership role as one
of the founders of the discipline of pharmacoeconomics.”
Mr. Tierce added: “The value of this company lies in our excellent
staff. Dr. Joshua Benner, Dr. C. David Klingman, Dr. Richard Chapman
and the remainder of our fine staff, most with advanced degrees in
economics/health economics, pharmacy, health policy, or other relevant
disciplines, all have a long history of successful research and consulting
in their respective areas. Our clients will receive the same high
quality services from ValueMedics that they received from us when
we were members of the Health Economics Group at Epinomics.”
