ValueMedics Reserach LLC, co-authored poster at the 36th Annual Meeting of the International Continence Society

Montreal, Quebec, Canada – Jon Tierce, CPhil, ValueMedics Principal, and Josh Benner, PharmD, ScD, ValueMedics Principal, co-authored the poster, “Burden and Treatment of Bladder Symptoms in US Adults” presented by Dr. Linda Brubaker of the Loyola University Medical Center at the 36th Annual Meeting of the International Continence Society.

The study survey 260,000 U.S. households to determine the individual-perceived burden and treatment patterns for bothersome bladder symptoms. The results found that the burden of bothersome overactive bladder symptoms is substantial, yet only a small proportion of affected individuals consult with health care providers or receive treatment with prescription medications.
