Jonothan C. Tierce, C.Phil., and Elisabeth
H. Hazard, Ph.D., formed ValueMedics in 2003. The initial staff was
made up of the Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Pricing and Market
Access unit of their former firm, Epinomics Research, Inc., also founded
by Mr. Tierce and Dr. Hazard in 1997. The company is located just
outside of Washington, DC.
ValueMedics provides high quality, science- and market-driven value
determination, value demonstration and value communication projects,
supported by strong reimbursement, informatics and communications
capabilities, to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device
and diagnostics industries. This has characterized the work of Mr.
Tierce and Dr. Hazard and the rest of the ValueMedics staff throughout
their many years of working in the industry.
