Dr. Hazard is a founder and principal of ValueMedics
Research, LLC., formerly the Health Economics, Outcomes, Pricing
and Market Access Group of Epinomics Research, Inc., also co-founded
by Dr. Hazard in 1997. Dr. Hazard helps direct all aspects of ValueMedics
business offerings and marketing activities.
With over 15 years in the health care industry, Dr. Hazard helps engineer
ValueMedics’ research, consulting and program offerings. In
addition to her strong, often innovative, research skills, Dr. Hazard
is a pioneer in the area of “value communications,” providing
some of the first “value message” development projects
and communications efforts in this frontier of health economics.
Prior to founding Epinomics with Mr. Tierce, Dr. Hazard founded a
consulting business providing, reimbursement, health policy, and health
economics services to the pharmaceutical industry. She has worked
in many therapeutic areas, including pain management, women's health,
cardiology, oncology and diabetes. Dr. Hazard began her healthcare
career at Connecticut General Insurance Company.
Dr. Hazard graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California,
Berkeley. She received a four-year Chancellor's Fellowship from the
University of California, Los Angeles where she earned her M.A. and
Ph.D. degrees in Political Science. |
