Dr. Eisenschenk brings clinical hospital pharmacy experience together with health economic and outcomes research experience to ValueMedics as a Senior Clinical and Outcomes Research Consultant. Prior to associating with ValueMedics, Dr. Eisenschenk was a Clinical Research Manager in the Outcomes Research Unit at PAREXEL International, a large contract research organization. There, she was involved in conducting, directing and providing clinical support to many types of outcomes research projects including clinical and economic literature reviews, therapeutic area overviews, health economic models, economic environment assessments and market research.

Before joining PAREXEL, Dr. Eisenschenk was a Clinical Pharmacist at the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) in Baltimore, Maryland. Her responsibilities in this capacity included: formulary management; developing and coordinating medication use evaluations; coordinating the activities of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee; participating in the evaluation of drugs requested for formulary addition; developing and maintaining the Medication Use Process Error database; editing the pharmacy department newsletter; and acting as liaison with pharmaceutical industry representatives. Dr. Eisenschenk also provided clinical pharmacy support to the kidney and pancreas transplant service.

Prior to her position as Clinical Pharmacist, Dr. Eisenschenk completed a one-year residency program at UMMS specializing in the management of a medication use process within a large teaching institution. Dr. Eisenschenk received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida.
