Mr. Becker brings over 10 years of outcomes research
experience to ValueMedics, supporting product development from Phase
II through post-launch. Mr. Becker has a strong, recognized capability
in the development
various types of health economics models, including budget impact
and decision analysis models, from design through final application
and/or publication.
He also manages projects such as observational studies, national
patient surveys, cost-effectiveness analyses, and publication
development.
Prior to joining ValueMedics Research, LLC, Mr. Becker was a Senior Manager
with Ovation Research Group, a health economics consulting firm. While there,
he specialized in developing various types of health economic modeling and
in various projects in the areas of cancer, HIV/AIDS, urology, and osteoarthritis.
He also worked for PAREXEL International, a large contract research organization,
in the Outcomes Research Unit. Before working in health outcomes research,
Mr. Becker specialized in travel economics at a consulting firm and an industry
association.
Mr. Becker earned his M.A. from the University of Virginia in Economics
and a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University in Business with a minor in
Economics.
